HyellaValla Foundation is a registered Nigerian non-profit committed to transforming lives in Hong LGA through grassroots development, quality education, accessible healthcare, and vocational opportunity.
HyellaValla Foundation (HVF) is a registered Nigerian non-governmental, non-profit organisation incorporated on 26 November 2019. Headquartered in Abuja, FCT, with a field annex in Adamawa State, HVF works to improve the quality of life and foster peace in underserved communities across Nigeria through targeted development programmes.
Our vision is to be a leading and reliable development partner. We achieve this by delivering primary healthcare, basic education, vocational training, WASH interventions, gender rights advocacy, environmental protection, agriculture support, and disaster relief to communities in need.
"To provide primary healthcare, basic education, vocational training and relief aids to communities in need."
— HyellaValla Foundation Mission Statement
HVF's programmes span eight core thematic areas drawn from our founding constitution, each addressing a critical barrier to sustainable community development.
Maternal and child health, reproductive health, and primary healthcare delivery to underserved communities.
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene programmes to improve access to safe water and healthy environments.
Quality basic education, literacy programmes, and vocational skills development for youth and adults.
Targeted support for women and young people through skills, mentorship, and economic empowerment initiatives.
Advocacy and programming to advance gender equality and protect the rights of women and girls.
Supporting smallholder farmers and rural entrepreneurs to build sustainable livelihoods and food security.
Environmental protection and conservation initiatives to preserve natural resources for future generations.
Emergency relief and recovery support for communities affected by natural disasters and humanitarian crises.
Our programmes are designed and delivered in partnership with local schools, community leaders, and dedicated volunteers.
Annual educational outreach in partnership with Gleefield Community

Maths–English Club for secondary school students
The ME (Maths–English) Club meets regularly with secondary school students to strengthen two of the most critical subjects for academic and professional success. Through peer-learning, practice exercises, and facilitated discussion, members build both confidence and capability.

Hong LGA in Adamawa State faces significant challenges in access to quality education and healthcare. Many families in rural communities like Uding have limited exposure to academic enrichment activities beyond the classroom.
Through our targeted programmes, we close that gap — giving children the confidence to compete, learn, and dream bigger than their immediate circumstances might suggest.
Our operations are centred in Uding Community — a rural settlement in Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State, north-eastern Nigeria.
